  • What type of music does Beats 2 Geaux specialize in?

  • How far do you travel?
    Beats 2 Geaux services up to 130 miles from the Alexandria, Pineville areas. Free delivery is available within 60 miles. Additional travel mileage is billed @ 1.50 per mile, round trip.   • How do I make changes or add upgrades to my booking?
    Request changes to your booking 24/7 by signing in to your Beats 2 Geaux Planner account at www.beats2geaux.com - Click on the 'Event Details' button.   • What are the minimum purchase amounts?
    Your booking may require a minimum purchase amount. All Entertainment Bookings: $1000 minimum Saturdays: $1200 minimum Events Over 60 Miles: $1500 minimum Holidays & Premium Dates: $1500 minimum No minimum purchase required for equipment rentals.

    To all of our amazing clients who have their weddings and special events booked with us. I wanted to take a moment to address any concerns you may have about the current events involving the Covid-19 Virus, cancellations and how it may affect your big day. ⁣ ⁣ I wanted to personally let you know that the Beats 2 Geaux team is NOT going to bail on you. We are 1000% committed to your wedding date and have been working hard behind the scenes. I want to assure you that your safety and our teams safety is of utmost importance. Our team has been staying on top of current updates and following public LDH health & safety guidelines. Beats 2 Geaux is excited to bring the party. All systems are geaux!! ⁣ Let us all hope this situation is under control soon! Whatever you decide for your big day, if postponing, cancelling or rescheduling is needed due to restrictions put in place, we will make every effort to work with you.   • Can you provide music and microphones for my wedding ceremony?
    Absolutely! We'll make sure that everything sounds perfect. ​ The "Ceremony Music Service" upgrade is available as an add-on to your entertainment package, and includes EV® ELX Professional Sound, Shure® Professional Wireless Lapel / Body Pack Microphone (Up to 200' Distance), Fully Customized Ceremony Music with Online Ceremony Planning. Additional microphones, stands, and instrument connections are available for rental. View all available add-ons and upgrades on the Packages & Pricing page here. ​ Additional travel fee may apply if your ceremony is being held in a seperate remote location. Please contact us for details or to upgrade your booking. ​ Adding ceremony music services will extend hours billed for your selected entertainment package. Ceremony add on is required, even if your ceremony is in the same room. Beats 2 Geaux does not attend rehersals, but rest assured we will coordinate with you to make sure that everything is timed to perfection.
  • Do you attend ceremony rehearsals?
    We don't generally participate in rehearsals without an additional fee, but rest assured, we're well-versed in wedding ceremonies. By providing us with comprehensive details in the planning system, we'll ensure your ceremony music is flawlessly executed! Although we won't be physically present at the rehearsal, we'll closely collaborate with you to ensure impeccable timing. Our advanced software seamlessly loops songs, making song length a non-issue. Moreover, we'll thoroughly go over your ceremony music during our planning call before the big day. Your musical experience is our priority!
  • Can you set up upstairs?
    Stairs are a DJ's worst nightmare. If your venue has a service elevator or lift, we're happy to perform on your balcony or elevated location. Some of our equipment weighs in at over 200 lbs. If there is no elevator available and being upstairs is an absolute must, please give us advanced notice so that we are prepared and adequately staffed. ($250 Service Fee)
  • Can you perform outdoors?
    Yes. Beats 2 Geaux has hosted a ton of ourdoor events! A large tent or open outdoor area will be perfect, as long as our equipment is fully covered and protected from the weather. Also, appropriate power arrangements will need to be made in advance. If you need help with portable power or tent / canopy rentals, please contact us.
  • What happens if my event is canceled or postponed?
    Payments are non refundable. In the event that your booking must be cancelled or postponed, a store credit will remain on your Beats 2 Geaux account for future use with any of our service offerings or rentals. Credits do not expire. Event rebookings are subject to date availability. 1 complimentary rebooking allowed within the same calendar year. $200 rebooking fee will apply for additional rebookings.   • Do I need a closed indoor venue?
    No. Beats 2 Geaux has hosted a ton of ourdoor events! A large tent or open outdoor area will be perfect, as long as the equipment is fully covered and protected from the weather.   • Where should I locate the DJ?
    We recommend placing your dj set-up directly in front of your dancefloor if possible. This prevents sound volume issues at tables that may otherwise be located between your dancefloor and DJ. Also, your guests will have a better overall experience if your DJ can interact with your guests. Our sound and lighting set-ups are rather large and do not fit well in room corners.   • Can I send you my own custom design for monogram projections?
    Absolutely! We can project any vector file. Not sure? This article by business insider will help explain what type of file that we need. Email your design to booking@beats2geaux.com
  • What is overtime and why is it on my invoice?
    Overtime is simply anything over 4 hours. The hourly rate stays the same. Our booking system just labels anything over 4 hours as "overtime".
  • How do I make a payment?
    You can make payments 24/7 using the online payment portal. To make a payment, sign in to your Beats 2 Geaux planner account at beats2geaux.com then click the 'Make A Payment' button on the account overview page to access the payment system. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Debit Cards, Electronic Check, ACH Debit, & PayPal Payments are processed by PayPal, but you are not required to have a PayPal account to make a payment. When you reach the PayPal login screen, click the 'Pay with Debit or Credit Card' button to checkout as a guest. A 3.8% card processing fee will be applied to all payments. Sorry, we no longer accept personal checks.
  • Do you offer financing?
    In short, yes, on half. A 50% non-refundable booking retainer fee is due at the time of booking to confirm your booking and reserve your selected event date(s). Submit your retainer payment online by signing in to your planner account, and selecting the 'Make A Payment' option, or by calling us at (318) 596-0233. Once your payment is processed, your date reservation will instantly be "locked in". You can break up the remaining balance however you'd like. Once your booking is confirmed, sign in anytime to make payments on the remaining balance. Just pay off your account balance to $0 before your event date. Availability remains open to new potential bookings until your event has been confirmed. Due to limited availability, "Peak Season" dates may require a minimum purchase amount.
  • What payment types do you accept?

    Please settle the remaining balance prior to your event date. You can make payments via our online payment portal. Log on to your account via our website www.beats2geaux.com to access the payment system. If you need help, please contact us.
  • What is your refund / cancellation policy?
